What is Holiday Adopt-A-Mom?

Care Masters Holiday Adopt-A-Mom is a focused campaign running from December 1–12. During this time, we invite our community to help us support mothers who are carrying heavy responsibilities with limited support.

Many of the moms we serve are raising children on their own, are new to Canada, feel isolated from family, or come from cultural backgrounds where talking about stress and mental health is not always encouraged.

Your donation helps us create thoughtful holiday support bundles that say: “You’re not alone. Your community cares.”

When does the campaign run?

The Care Masters Holiday Adopt-A-Mom campaign runs from December 1–12. If we are able to extend the campaign, we will share updates on our website and social media.

How are moms selected?

We prioritize moms connected to our programs and community partners who we know are experiencing financial stress, isolation, or other challenges. We are careful to protect their privacy and dignity.

How will my donation be used?

Donations are pooled to create holiday support bundles tailored to the needs of moms and their families. This may include essentials, small gifts, and items that support wellbeing.

Can I get a receipt for my donation?

Yes, you will automatically be issued a tax receipt upon donating succesfully.

Do you accept e-transfers?

What if I can’t give right now?

You can still support by sharing this campaign with friends, family, and community members who may be able to give. Every share helps.

Care Masters Women & Family Services is dedicated to supporting women and families through community programs, mental wellness support, and practical resources. We believe in creating safe spaces where women, particularly Black women and moms from diverse backgrounds, can feel seen, heard, and supported.
