AMANI Mental Health & Substance Use Program
​
The AMANI Mental Health & Substance Use Program (formerly known as the Substance Abuse Program for African Canadian and Caribbean Youth or “SAPACCY”) offers culturally responsive and affirming mental health and substance use health support for Black youth, ages 12–25, alongside their families and caregivers. We provide a safe and welcoming space for Black, African, and Caribbean youth to talk about mental health and substance use health issues.

Stella’s Place
​
We are THE place for young adults in Toronto, aged 16 to 29, who are experiencing mental health challenges
to get the support they need. The Stella’s Place ‘menu’ includes peer supports, clinical, online, employment,
wellness, and recovery services as well as opportunities to explore your creative self through studio programs.

African Canadian Foundation
At African Canadian Foundation Inc. , we are a passionate community committed to fostering mental resilience and well-being within the African Canadian population. Our foundation was established with a mission to address critical issues such as addiction, substance use, suicide prevention, and mental health challenges.

Black Coalition for Aids Prevention (Black CAP)​
The Black Coalition for Aids Prevention (Black CAP) is a Black-owned Canadian based Black CAP is an organization that works to reduce HIV/AIDS in Toronto’s Black, African and Caribbean communities, and enhance the quality of life of people living with HIV. The Black Coalition for Aids Prevention Community Outreach Program, focuses on harm reduction, offers drop-In prevention program employment program Women's Peer Support Program.​

The Access Point helps you connect to individual mental health and addiction support services and supportive housing in Toronto.

Afri-Can Food Basket
​Since its founding in 1995, Afri-Can FoodBasket (AFB) has been a Black-Led, Black-Serving, and Black-Mandated (B3) organization pioneering a progressive food movement. We champion reducing hunger, enhancing cultural food access, and promoting health and wellness through food and nutrition initiatives within African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities across the GTA.

211 Toronto
211 is a helpline that easily connects people to the social services, programs and community supports they need.

Good2Talk
Good2Talk provides free, confidential support services for post-secondary students in Ontario and Nova Scotia

ConnexOntario 
ConnexOntario provides free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems
with alcohol and drugs, mental illness and/or gambling. We are funded by the Government of Ontario. Our
system navigation and information service is liveanswer 24/7, confidential, and free.

Kids Help Phone
Contact number: 1-800-668-6868
Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7, national support service. We offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.

LGBT Youthline
Youth Line offers confidential and non-judgemental peer support through our telephone, text and chat services. Get in touch with a peer support volunteer from Sunday to Friday, 4:00PM to 9:30 PM.

Toronto Distress Centre
Our 408-HELP (4357) line provides telephone support to individuals in the community who are at risk and
their most vulnerable. Highly-trained volunteer responders (with the support of professional staff)
connect with callers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our team provides callers with emotional support and crisis intervention when they are socially isolated, marginalized, struggling with chronic mental health problems, in distress, attempting to navigate family violence or in need of emergency response or suicide prevention + intervention + postvention.
