EDUCATIONCOURSESMindful Parenting (6-week course)
Mindfulness helps us become aware of our own deepest needs through practice. Mindful parenting addresses the deeper needs of our children. Cultivating self-compassion, self-love, healthy self-acceptance and self-awareness is essential in effective mindful parenting. Participants will learn skills to cope with their children's surface behaviours without becoming reactive. Positive Discipline (6-week course)
Statistics show that children with low self-esteem often perform below their potential in school and make poor decisions in social situations. Positive Discipline is a non-violent approach to parenting that informs the child and supports their growth, while building their self-esteem and resilience. Teens and Pre-teens (6-week course)
Adolescence is a confusing time, teens are exploring a new sense of independence and identity. Meanwhile, parents are challenged with discipline and the struggle to let go. This course will help you forge a closer relationship with your teen/tween based on honesty and respect. |
