Summer Excursions with Care Masters

Care Masters is excited to announce our Summer Excursions Series—three unforgettable days of learning, connection, and fun designed to explore Black history, strengthen community ties, and create lasting memories. Youth, families, and community members are all invited to join us on these enriching journeys.

• July 24th – Youth Day (ages 12-17): Tour the Benares Historic House for an opportunity to explore the history of Mississauga’s first Black settlers, followed by team-based fun at Cube Ultimate Challenge—an interactive gaming venue perfect for youth.

• August 12th – Family Day: Visit Salem Chapel BME Church, a key Underground Railroad site linked to Harriet Tubman, then enjoy a relaxing afternoon at St. Catharines beach with the whole family.​

• August 26th – Community Tour: Join the Ontario Black History Society for a powerful walking tour highlighting Black historical landmarks and stories across Ontario.​
