Healing Happens in the Community

Welcome to Care Masters!

We are a Black-led charity rooted in the belief that every woman, every child, and every family deserves access to spaces that uplift, empower, and strengthen them.

Care Masters Women and Family Services was founded in 2017 in Mississauga, Ontario, and has grown from a grassroots movement into a thriving, multi-staffed organization serving over 560 people in 2025 alone.

Our programs are barrier-free, culturally grounded in African and Caribbean traditions of care, and designed to nurture emotional wellness, family stability, and confident young leaders.

Because community should never come with a price tag.

What We Do — Our Three Pillars

Everything we do fits within three core pillars — the tools we put in the hands of Black women, youth, and families to master their own care, mentally, economically, and generationally.

Women’s Mental Wellness & Empowerment

The foundation of the village. We create safe, healing spaces for Black women, single mothers, and caregivers through our signature Sister Circles, grief support, wellness workshops, and personal development programming. Over 100 women found community and healing through our circles and wellness programs in 2025.

Economic Empowerment & Prosperity

The pathway to independence. When you’re not economically well, it’s hard to be mentally well. This pillar equips Black women and youth with the financial knowledge, tools, and confidence to build independence, wealth, and stability — through SEPP, Money Talks, Cooking & Financial Literacy, microgrants, Junior Wealth Builders, and paid youth employment pathways.

Youth & Leadership Development

The legacy of the village. When we empower a Black woman, her children and youth are empowered too. From basketball courts to art studios to STEM labs, our youth programs build confidence, cultural pride, and leadership. Black Family Fun Night has run weekly for nearly five years, and 11 youth were paid above minimum wage through our LIT pathway.
