Fundraising & Partnership Lead
As the Fundraising & Partnership Lead, you will plan, execute, and deliver measurable fundraising results for Care Masters. You will take ownership of key initiatives from idea through completion — making sure timelines are met, revenue opportunities are maximized, and systems are in place for long-term sustainability.
Contract role: 4–6 months, with potential extension based on results
Flexible hours — accountability is tied to deliverables and milestones
Total contract value: up to $7,000
Start date: Immediate
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of major fundraising events and initiatives, including timelines, roles, and performance targets
Coordinate staff, summer students, and volunteers with clear delegation, accountability, and high-quality delivery
Drive sponsorship and donor engagement — develop value-driven packages, prospect, outreach, and convert to secure commitments
Cultivate and manage donor and sponsor relationships to secure financial and in-kind contributions
Design, launch, and manage a sustainable monthly giving program
Implement, optimize, and maintain donation systems (e.g., Donorbox, CRM) — ensuring tools are functional, documented, and transferable
Establish streamlined processes for donation tracking, reporting, and donor follow-up
Monitor fundraising pipelines, progress, and performance metrics to stay aligned with revenue goals
Identify and resolve operational blockers to keep momentum going
Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field — or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in fundraising, sponsorship development, donor relations, or partnership management, preferably in a nonprofit or charity setting
Proven ability to plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, or revenue-generating initiatives from start to finish
Strong track record securing sponsorships and donor commitments against targets
Familiarity with CRM and donation tools (e.g., Donorbox or similar platforms)
Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced contract environment
