Family Support Services
Black Family Fun Night
Black Family Fun Night is a recreation program designed to establish a safe and inclusive cultural space for Black children and families to connect through play. BFFN offers a distinctive blend of recreational sports, imaginative arts, and social skill-building activities tailored for children aged 5-12. Thanks to the generous funding provided by the Foundation For Black Communities, our program is able to eliminate all financial barriers and is completely free for all participants.

Supporting Single Parent-Led Black Families
At Care Masters Women and Family Services, we understand the challenges faced by single parent-led households, especially within Black communities. As we look ahead to 2024, we are committed to uplifting Black families and contributing to the elimination of food insecurity. Over the years, we have heard firsthand the struggles of single parents and the immense burden of providing for their families amidst rising grocery costs due to inflation.
In 2023, Care Masters provided our Sisters with $1675 in groceries and in 2024 we aim to provide much more! In addition to this financial support, single parents will have special FREE access to our Mental Wellness Programming and Sister Circles. Together, we can empower single parent-led families to persevere through these challenging times and thrive despite the obstacles they face. Stay connected with us as we continue our mission to support and uplift Black families. Your strength and resilience inspire us every day, and we are committed to walking alongside you on this journey. |
Group Support Services
Sisters Circles
Sisters Circle support groups offer a safe space for Black women to explore emotional thoughts, ideas and feelings among trusted counterparts without shame or fear of judgment.
Each group engages participants in meaningful cultural discussions, creative arts, and relationship and capacity building exercises to reduce the emotional impact of the inequities we, our youth and our communities commonly encounter as a result of systemic oppression.
The sisterhood welcomes you with open arms, a warm heart, a mindful ear and an empathetic shoulder. 🖤
